🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 — Munich: arrival and hands-on science at the Deutsches Museum

  • 🏙️ Arrive in Munich. Check in and adjust. During the day — Deutsches Museum (Museumsinsel 1): one of the world’s largest science and technology museums, where kids can “take in” entire laboratories, see airplanes, ships, electricity, and music “from the inside.” Plan: 2–3 hours in the exhibits + a snack break. In the evening — a calm walk along the Isar and an early bedtime so the kids have energy for an active day tomorrow.

Day 2 — Munich: BMW Welt/Museum + SEA LIFE in the Olympic Park

  • 🚗 In the morning — BMW Welt and BMW Museum (Am Olympiapark 2): beautiful halls, historic and futuristic cars, motorcycles, and interactive exhibits — kids love the “time travel on wheels.”

  • 🐠 After lunch — SEA LIFE München (Willi-Daume-Platz 1) in the Olympic Park: themed zones from the “Isar River” to the “Tropical Ocean,” tunnels with rays and sharks, quest cards. Between locations — lawns for a picnic and big stairs/ramps where kids can burn off energy.

Day 3 — Munich: Hellabrunn Zoo + waterside playgrounds

  • 🦒 Tierpark Hellabrunn (Tierparkstraße 30) is a “geo-zoo” where routes are organized by continents. Family tactic: in the morning — key enclosures and feedings; during peak hours — shady paths and playgrounds; toward evening — lighter areas (birds, petting spaces). Don’t try to “cover everything” — choose 6–8 anchors and take frequent breaks.

Day 4 — Transfer to Günzburg: check into your LEGOLAND base and get acquainted with the park

  • 🚆 Logistics: Munich Hbf → Günzburg by train (ICE/RE) ≈ 1 h 20–1 h 45 min. From Günzburg station — bus 818A to “LEGOLAND Park” ≈ 8–15 minutes. Build in buffer time for the transfer and a snack.

  • 🧱 First walk around LEGOLAND Deutschland (LEGOLAND Allee 1): a gentle start — MINILAND, kids’ water/sand play areas, calm family rides. In the evening — dinner and an early night.

Day 5 — LEGOLAND: top rides in the morning, creativity in the afternoon

  • 🎢 The “3 blocks” strategy: 1) Morning — the most popular coasters and NINJAGO World while lines are short. 2) Midday — creative zones (LEGO building, shows), lunch and shade. 3) Evening — “top up” with the child’s wishes. Give your child the right to choose 2–3 must-do activities — it reduces fatigue and conflicts.

Day 6 — LEGOLAND: water and story zones + отдых in the Feriendorf

  • 💦 Water play areas, “Pirate Bay,” themed “kingdoms,” and interactive attractions. After the park — LEGOLAND Feriendorf play spaces: pirate golf, playgrounds, in-room quests; for active kids — the rope course near the Feriendorf (weather permitting, observing height restrictions).

Day 7 — Günzburg at an easy pace: the old town center + Feriendorf

  • 🏰 Morning — free play at the Feriendorf playgrounds. During the day — a short walk through Günzburg’s historic center (market square, cafés, ice cream), return early: kids catch up on sleep, adults do laundry/repacking. In the evening — family QUIET time (books, board games).

Day 8 — Ulm: the Danube and a children’s museum

  • 🚆 Transfer: Günzburg → Ulm ≈ 20–30 minutes by regional train.

  • 🎨 Edwin Scharff Museum, Kindermuseum (Petrusplatz 4, Neu-Ulm) — a museum “in action format” with zones for kids; after that — the Danube promenade and a view of Ulm Minster (climb up only if the child is ready).

Day 9 — Ulm/Blaubeuren: the “blue” Blautopf + prehistoric world

  • 🌊 Trip to the Blautopf (Blautopfstraße, area of Kirchplatz 10, 89143 Blaubeuren) — a bright-blue karst spring; nearby — Urgeschichtliches Museum Blaubeuren (Kirchplatz 10): the Ice Age, music and Paleolithic art in accessible formats.

  • 🦎 Return to Ulm and an easy visit to Tiergarten Ulm (Friedrichsau 40, timewise — 1.5–2 hours) with breaks at playgrounds in Friedrichsau Park.

Day 10 — Augsburg: zoo + botanical garden

  • 🚆 Transfer: Ulm → Augsburg ≈ 40–60 minutes by train.

  • 🦓 Zoo Augsburg (Brehmplatz 1) — compact and easy for kids to understand; next — the Botanischer Garten (Dr.-Ziegenspeck‑Weg 10) with a Japanese garden, ponds, and shady paths. Plan a picnic between the locations (they’re next to each other).

Day 11 — Augsburg: puppet world and planetarium

  • 🎭 Augsburger Puppenkiste + the “Die Kiste” museum (Spitalgasse 15) — a fairy-tale atmosphere and classic TV puppets; kids love “peeking behind the scenes.” Then — Naturmuseum Augsburg and the S‑Planetarium (Ludwigstraße 14): a starry sky and hands-on science.

Day 12 — Nuremberg/Zirndorf: check-in and PLAYMOBIL‑FunPark, day 1

  • 🚆 Transfer: Augsburg → Nürnberg Hbf ≈ 1h–1h 20m (depending on train type). To PLAYMOBIL‑FunPark (Brandstätterstraße 2–10, Zirndorf) — public transit via Zirndorf (bus 151), or check in прямо in the PLAYMOBIL‑Hotel (Brandstätterstraße 5).

  • 🤖 PLAYMOBIL‑FunPark — huge play areas themed “Pirates,” “Knights,” “Police,” water play zones, ropes, little towers. Everything is “hands-on play”: fewer rides, more climbing and storytelling.

Day 13 — Nuremberg: PLAYMOBIL‑FunPark, day 2 + toy museum

  • 🎒 Revisit your favorite PLAYMOBIL areas in the morning; in the afternoon — the Nuremberg Toy Museum (Karlstraße 13–15): surprisingly “alive” exhibits from tin soldiers to model railways and dolls. In the evening — getting ready to leave.

Day 14 — Return to Munich and departure

  • 🚄 Nürnberg → München: ICE ≈ 1h 05–1h 15m. To Munich Airport — S‑Bahn S1/S8 ≈ 35–45 minutes or the Lufthansa Express Bus (city center ↔ MUC). Build in a 2.5–3 hour buffer before the flight: kids handle the journey more calmly with extra time.
