🧭 DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 — Arrival, check-in, and “getting a feel for the resort”

  • 🏁 Arrive in Bad Füssing, check in. Choose a hotel within walking distance of the thermes (Kurallee/center) — this lets you go to treatments without transport.

  • 🌿 Evening acclimatization: a calm walk through the Kurpark along flowerbeds and ponds, 30–45 minutes at a “talking pace.” A cup of tea, early sleep — tomorrow we start the water treatments.

  • 🧘 First-day routine: no overloads, no alcohol, no heavy food. Sip water in small portions, keep warm.

Day 2 — THERME EINS + Saunahof: the resort classic

  • 💧 Morning at Therme Eins (Kurallee 1): the historic “Ursprungstherme” with 12 pools (≈29–42°C), a mushroom fountain, massage paths, grottos. First water session 2–2.5 hours, with breaks to rest and warm drinks.

  • 🔥 Afternoon — Saunahof (right at Therme Eins): an authentic Rottal four-sided farmstead with saunas of different temperatures, relaxation zones, and cozy dining. Try only gentle settings, 60–90 minutes total.

  • 🌙 In the evening — a short walk along Kurallee: shop windows, cafés, spa orchestra music (seasonal). Early night.

Day 3 — Europa Therme: movement in the water + spa park

  • 🌊 Europa Therme (Kurallee 23): a large complex with jet channels, cascades, and aerosols. Ideal for a “gentle workout” for the joints: 15–20-minute dips in warm pools, temperature changes, rest on a lounger.

  • 🌸 After lunch — a long photo walk through the Kurpark: avenues, the music pavilion, fragrant mixed borders. If you have energy — bio-vital trails and Swedish walls in the movement zone.

  • 🍽️ Dinner — light, with an emphasis on vegetables and fish. Hydration and warmth are the key to good sleep.

Day 4 — Johannesbad Therme: scale + recovery

  • 🏛️ Johannesbad Therme (Johannesstr. 2): one of the largest thermal complexes in the region, with an impressive water surface area and a variety of pools (including outdoor ones, 27–39°C). Alternate 15–20 minutes in the water and 10 minutes of rest.

  • 🫁 Breathing exercises by the water, then a quiet hour in your room. Toward evening — a short walk along the central streets (Kurallee, Thermalbadstraße).

  • 💤 A “plus” night: a warm shower, herbal tea, then 8–9 hours of sleep.

Day 5 — Cycling day on the Innradweg + Reichersberg Monastery

  • 🚲 Rent a bike and take a relaxed route along the Inn riverbanks. Destination — Stift Reichersberg monastery (Austria) across the bridge near Obernberg: ≈10–12 km one way, 30–45 minutes at a “talking pace.”

  • ⛪ In the courtyard — a Baroque church, cloister walk, and a small tavern/wine shop. Return the same way, lunch in Bad Füssing, and relax in your favorite thermal pool for 60–90 minutes.

  • 🧴 Evening stretching and shower. Tomorrow — a cultural outing.

Day 6 — Passau: the “city of three rivers,” museums and views

  • 🚆 Morning: bus to Passau Hbf/center (≈50–60 minutes from Bad Füssing). Day route: Veste Oberhaus — panorama of the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz; then the Glass Museum (collections of European glass).

  • 🎼 If time allows — stop by St. Stephen’s Cathedral (organ concerts in season). After a coffee break — back to Bad Füssing and a light evening foot bath in the thermes.

Day 7 — Finale: “my perfect mix” and unhurried packing

  • 🌞 Dedicate the morning to “repeating the best”: your favorite pool at Therme Eins/Europa/Johannesbad depending on how you feel (60–90 minutes), then a farewell walk through the Kurpark.

  • 🎁 Souvenirs and a travel pharmacy kit (as recommended by a doctor/spa service), leisurely packing. Transfer to the airport/train with a time buffer.
